Not meals served. Not flyers handed out. Whether a person is still housed a year later, working, and keeping the benefits we helped them get.

Published when the year closes
We would rather post nothing than post a number we cannot defend. Our first full outcomes report goes up here when the reporting year closes, with unduplicated counts and the methodology beside it.
In the meantime, if you are evaluating us for a referral or a grant, call and ask. We will tell you exactly where we are.
Methodology
What we measure, and how
Anyone can publish a big number. Here is how ours are built.
Unduplicated counts
One person served three times is one person, not three. Every count on this page is unduplicated within the reporting year.
Housing retention at 6 and 12 months
The single most honest measure in this field. We follow up at six and twelve months after exit and record whether the person is still stably housed — anywhere, not just with us.
Employment and training placement
Started a job or enrolled in a training or education program, confirmed with the person or the employer, not self-reported at exit.
Benefits secured
Applications actually approved — SNAP, Medicaid, SSI/SSDI, vital documents. Submitted is not the same as approved and we do not count it as such.
Dated, never "to date"
Every figure carries the year it belongs to. Cumulative "since inception" numbers hide a bad year, so we do not use them.
What we will not do
- Count outputs as outcomes
- Publish a number without the year attached
- Use a client's photo or story without written, informed consent
- Round up

Where the money goes
Every dollar has a job
A night of supportive housing costs us about $45 — the bed, the utilities, and the staff time that keep the home safe and running.
- $45 keeps one person housed for a night
- $315 covers a full week of safe, stable housing
- $1350 covers a month — usually long enough to get an ID, a benefits application filed, and a job search started
