How can we support you?

Who we are

Where potential meets purpose

Access to Opportunity Corporation helps individuals overcome barriers, build essential skills, and create pathways toward greater stability and self-sufficiency. Through workforce development, education and training, internships, career services, community resources, and supportive housing, we connect people with the opportunities and support they need to move forward.

Why we exist

Success never comes from one service alone

It comes from having the right support at every stage of the journey.

Someone starting over rarely has one problem. They need somewhere to live, and work, and the paperwork sorted — and nearly every agency they call handles exactly one of the three.

Access to Opportunity Corporation was built to be the one place that can help with the whole picture. We run shared supportive housing, and we separately offer case management, job training, digital skills, education referrals and benefits navigation.

Keeping them separate is deliberate. The housing is housing: nobody has to enrol in a program to keep a roof over their head, and nobody is turned into a case file for wanting one.

We serve the Phoenix metro in Arizona and Houston in Texas.

"Everyone deserves a chance to thrive. We work to remove the barriers in the way."

How we work

  • We tell people the truth. If we cannot help, we say so the same day and point somewhere that can.
  • Plans are written with people, not for them.
  • No timers. Short stays and long stays, based on the plan.
  • We publish what most providers hide — bed counts, eligibility, and who we cannot accept.
  • Most programs are at no cost. Where a program does have a fee, a sliding scale based on income may be available, and the cost is explained upfront. What things cost.

Our approach

Wrap-around, in plain terms

A room you can afford. A resume and a bus pass. A benefits application and someone who knows why it got denied last time. Available from the same team — in whatever combination you actually want.

Leadership

Who runs this

Small team, direct lines. You will talk to the people doing the work.
