Who it is for
Housing built around a fixed income
ATO residences are shared homes for adults who want somewhere steady to live while they work on what is next. Most of our residents are living on a limited or fixed income, and the rent is set with that in mind.

- Adults transitioning from another program or living situation
Eligibility is confirmed during a short conversation. If we are not the right fit we will say so quickly and point you somewhere that is.

Important
Housing is separate from ATO's other programs
Access to Opportunity is more than a housing organization. We also run programs supporting education, employment, workforce readiness, digital literacy and career development — but those are separate from ATO Supportive Housing and are not part of the residence.
Never a condition of housing
Residents are not required to take part in any ATO program to live here, and taking part — or not — has no bearing on your housing.
If a resident wants extra help, they can choose to look into an eligible ATO program, or ask for information about resources at other organizations in the community. That decision belongs to the resident.

Independent living
What the residence is, and what it is not
ATO Supportive Housing is a housing program. The residence does not provide treatment, clinical care, personal care, supervision, case management or other supportive services.
Residents live independently and are responsible for managing their own daily activities and personal needs.
If you need care on site, we are not the right placement, and we will tell you that plainly rather than let you move in and find out.

Anyone who needs 24-hour medical or nursing care, or care and supervision on site, should look at a licensed care setting. Call us and we will help you find one.
